Vocalist Connye Florance has been delighting Nashville
audiences for what she calls a mighty long time.

Her rich, creamy voice has soothed and inspired audiences across the country, as she’s spent the last decade plus of her career headlining concerts and jazz festivals from New York to Nevada.  Her one-woman show, Jazz Rhapsody, reviewed as absolutely breathtaking has enraptured audiences from Wisconsin
to Miami and as far west as the Carson Valley in Nevada.

Jazz Discovery  honored  Connye in 2000 as  Jazz Vocalist of the Year; NIMA nominated her for Best Jazz Vocalist in 2016.

Besides being a published songwriter, highly respected teacher and vocal coach, her other credits include a Nashville Grammy (NAMMY) Nomination for Album of The Year for her premier indie release Turn My Heart 1999, endorsements from SouthArts as Esteemed Southern Artist 2007 and Nashville Jazz Workshop’s honored Heritage Award in 2013.

Nashville Jazz Orchestra is excited
to feature this exciting vocalist
and guest artist
